LLGND's Mission
LLGND™ is a Black-owned, social purpose fashion brand with a mission to create lasting cultural change - in music, sports, fashion, and art. By being the change that we want to see and inspiring others to do the same through fashion, we team up with musicians, athletes, conservationists, and artists to inspire change around the world. LLGND founder Grayson Walker's theory of change is that by using our platform to support musicians, athletes, conservationists, and artists that believe in our mission, we can affect positive change for a significant population around the world.
The Man Behind LLGND
Change is a mission statement for 25-year-old entrepreneur, professional basketball player, recording artist, and conservationist Grayson Walker, whose high aspirations to create social and environmental change around the world drive his creative inspiration. Originally from Colorado but with roots in Memphis and San Diego, Grayson is the grandson of George Walker, the first Black composer to win the Pulitzer Prize, and son of renowned concert violinist and composer Gregory Walker. Despite the family background in music, Grayson's educational background focused on business (BA in Business, MA in Social Innovation, MA in Marketing Management) and collegiate basketball. After working at the University of San Diego's Free Enterprise Institute and playing professional basketball in Mexico, Norway, Ireland, and Kosovo, he is now signed with Larnaka Gençler Birliği SK in Cyprus. Walker has also accumulated a wealth of experience in his own music career as a solo artist, including 8 studio albums, 372,000 streams in 120 countries, a #23 hit on the U.K. iTunes Hip Hop chart, and 10 shows in 4 states - opening for Sean Kingston and Aminé, performing with 2 orchestras, and guest lecturing at China Agricultural University. The founder of LLGND and Walker Snake Wrangler, a sole proprietorship focused on snake conservation, Walker's diverse array of passions is united by entrepreneurial expertise and the goal to create positive change throughout a wide variety of mediums - beginning with LLGND.
