LLGND™ is a Black-owned sportswear brand rooted in sport and social change. Our mission is to inspire change through our sustainable fashion and be the change we want to see by connecting athletes with partner social impact organizations aligned with the issues they are most passionate about off the field. We are building a mutually beneficial pathway of talent for organizations at the forefront of social change, while creating opportunities for athletes to step beyond the field and apply the creativity, decision-making, and leadership developed through sport to address to the causes they care most about - a pursuit that will outlast any athletic career and leave the world better for it.
About the Founder
Grayson Wolf Walker founded LLGND in 2022 with the intent to combine his passion for social impact, his experience as a collegiate and professional athlete, and his creative eye for sportswear and design. The intersectional nature of LLGND reflects Walker's own experience; the Colorado native pursued his athletic career playing and coaching college basketball at Rhodes College and the University of San Diego before playing professionally in Ireland, Kosovo, Cyprus, and Australia. Meanwhile, Walker earned a degree in business and masters in marketing and social innovation, worked off-seasons in higher ed social impact and entrepreneurship positions, and still finds time for music and other entrepreneurial pursuits.
